Erin Go Bragh!

Are you ready for some intensely nerdy St. Patrick's Day love???
(If not, quick!  Click out of this post immediately!)
Some women train their husbands to put down the toilet seat.  Other women train their husbands to throw away empty 2-liters of soda, rather than putting them back in the fridge.  Me?  I've trained my husband to agreeably pose for holiday-themed photo shoots.

No lie - Brian will actually ask me, "So what colors can I wear?" before we go to the pumpkin patch.  He knows.  I originally started color-coordinating our family when I did traditional scrapbook layouts.  If you're a scrapbooker, you know there is nothing worse than your husband wearing green in your 4th of July pictures.  But green on St. Patrick's Day?  Oh, yes please.
So, from our family to yours, we proclaim Erin Go Bragh!  (That means "Irish forever" according to my very reputable source, Wikipedia.)
Yep, we are looking good in green.  And I bought my sweatshirt when I was in it's LEGIT!
I found the glasses and beads in the "Spring" bin (I keep all my seasonal bins stacked in the basement).  I'm sure I found them in the dollar spot at Target, and assumed I'd be celebrating big at some point.  Now that I'm in my 30s, "celebrating big" is defined as dressing up with my family!
Harmon is a graduate of the Tyra Banks school of modeling.  She has taught him to never stop making love to the camera (even when others are off-task).  Come on, boys!  Get it together!
OK, that's better.
I ask you, is there anything cuter than a Westie in shamrock glasses?
I think not.
Wait.  I stand corrected.
A boy holding a Westie in shamrock glasses is, indeed, cuter.
For those of you who think my husband is instinctively good-natured with all my photo antics....
...I present to you this.
And this.
(I mean, who licks a dog?)
Nice close-up, Cooper!  The child has been working a DSLR since he was four.
Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone!  I hope you had perfectly pinch-free day!
