I'm shamelessly soliciting the help of my readers...
My husband's birthday is next weekend and I have NO CLUE what to do for a gift. I feel like I've already used up the usual suspects: a coupon book, a lovey-dovey scrapbook, etc.
I can spend money on food/going out to dinner - it's the gift thing that's throwing me for a loop!
Any ideas out there????
(By the way, my husband has never once read my blog....so no worries about spoiling the surprise with your suggestions!)
That's a tough one. Okay, he seems like a pretty outdoorsy guy. So maybe a great hike together, or a weekend camping. Oh--you could maybe do a video game night with him as a gift. These are the only things I could think of, good luck!!!
ReplyDeleteYou could make a list of 100 things you love about him. Then cut them into strips, curl them and put them in a jar.
ReplyDeleteHave you seen the deck of cards idea on Pinterest? 52 things you love about him... put them on a deck of cards and use metal rings to turn it into a little scrapbook. Maybe too similar to your lovey-dovey scrapbook, though??
ReplyDelete@Amy - I just looked up that card idea - I like it! But I'm wondering if it might work better for Father's Day (you know, things we love about Dadddy)... Hmmm...
Delete@Erica and Gevay - Thanks so much for the ideas!
ReplyDeleteCostco does great (super cheap) collages. Could you put one together with pictures of the three of you and find an old frame from your house? I did one for Adam, that he has in his classroom, and he loves it!
ReplyDelete@Kelly - Good idea! I wish we had an old window frame. I'd love to make one of those wall collages using that!
